Review for Casa Azul - Apartment in Puerto Plata

I had a really great stay for 2 or 3 nights. the room was well-equipped with a refrigerator, air conditioning, and a work desk, which I really enjoyed. the private bathroom featuring a bathtub was a fantastic addition. I truly didn’t want to leave and highly recommend this hotel.

It was within 25 min drive from the airport.

The personnel was extremely friendly and attentive, doing their best to assist. The location was decent and marvellous, adjacent to the old town and bus station, Puerto Plata for a very good price and town center. Also, it was 1060 min drive from Camping Levesque.

This hotel had a nice and cozy room, and I liked the shared kitchen which added to the overall experience.

I absolutely loved my stay at Casa Azul! The house is located in a vibrant neighborhood, filled with the everyday life of the Dominican people. From children playing on the streets to friendly conversations between neighbors, it truly immersed me in the local culture. The beach street, fort, ATMs, and supermarkets were all just a short walk away, making it convenient for me to explore the area. I especially enjoyed cooking my own meals in the communal kitchen, which felt like home. The owner, Daniele, and her family were incredibly welcoming and made sure I felt comfortable throughout my stay. I highly recommend Casa Azul for an authentic and enjoyable experience.

Every detail was perfect and I thoroughly enjoyed it. the hotel was close to the 27 waterfalls, supermarket, and the bus stop at 6 am. - It was also close to shops and restaurants. - I was there for 2 nights and would stay there again!

Spacious apartments with full kitchen. Laundry facilities, rooftop patio, and courtyard available. Friendly and helpful staff who also provide affordable transportation. Loaned aloe for sunburn. Highly recommended for a trip to Puerto Plata.

Our stay at Casa Azul was fantastic! The room was comfortable with a private bathroom and even had a fridge. The host, Danielle, was amazing and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and activities. She even showed us around the city and helped us navigate to our next destination. The location was convenient, with easy access to supermarkets and transportation. we had a great experience and would definitely recommend Casa Azul!
